I wanted to tell you how extremely disappointed I am with constant contact. When we spoke on the phone for over an hour the day I first signed up. A couple of months ago, I shared with you that I had been thinking about going into a different direction with my coaching. I reflected and decided that I do not want to continue coaching realtors. We spoke about that. I was assured by you on the phone that I could cancel at any time. I was never told that I had to call in to cancel. Despite attempting to reach your office by phone more than once, I sent in an email on May 24 stating that I was canceling. I took a screenshot of my account which states that my billing cycle is on the 30th of May. I did get an automatic reply back and on the 25th of May. 5 days early, my card was charged for services that I had already stated that I was canceling and 5 days early. Upon just calling in now as I had yet to receive any email back from your office with confirmation of my cancellation, I was told that a refund was not possible as I was only able to call in to cancel. This was never stated upfront and somehow the guy on the other end of the phone says that it is within your policy to see fit to charge people ahead of their due date!

REALLY? This is the most immoral company I have ever worked with. In this day and age, people expect integrity and honesty from the companies that they choose to give their money too. Not only will I be taking my email list of 24,000 with me. I intend on telling everyone I know about this type of immoral treatment of clients.

Sam Lenz deliberately chose to ignore repeated requests to deactivate my account and to not call me. Had to call and tell him to deactivate and he had the gall to say all I had to do was ask.

Beyond unprofessional.

Pushy sales people

Sam Lenz deliberately chose to ignore repeated requests to deactivate my account and to not call me. Had to call and tell him to deactivate and he had the gall to say all I had to do was ask.

Aggressive business practices

Will never use again and when I receive an email, will immediately unsubscribe.

In the beginning, you are old you have a "early success team." This is code for, "Tell them whatever you need to in order to stop them from canceling the subscription."

After 14 days have passed, and you're waiting for follow up to those sweet answers, you start receiving emails that what you were told is impossible.

Stay far away. They lie, they're aggressive, and they're compiling data on EVERYONE on YOUR list for THEIR use.

Terrible. On the first call, they want your credit card and they then don't respond

I signed up for the services. They really wanted my credit card information and signed me up for a monthly plan. They then cancelled my account in the evening on the same day I signed up- no explanation. I called the next morning and they told me it was because of compliance issues- that's it.

Garbage. Use MailChimp.

Terrible customer service, annoying interface, constant troubles. Worthless. Use MailChimp instead. Never use this company.

You need to phone and spend money to cancel subscription

I don't know if this is a scam, but in the 2021 this is the only internet service that you cannot unsubscribe in the customer area, neither via web chat or email... You need to phone and I spent 20 euros. Now I hope the cancelled my account and not see other money left from my credit card.
A tips, use Paypal and not your credit card.

Horrible company, they won't let you cancel. Just no. Go with MailChimp or any other company, but not them.

Integrating eCommerce site with eComdash (their on system) is a joke

Constant Contact has the option to create an eCommerce Store. Sounds good; however, they have issues getting the store to integrate with eComdash (their own system). I've been using eComdash for several years so thought creating eCommerce using Contact Contact would be great. NOT. I've had a trouble ticket in for two weeks now and have not received answers to correct the issue. I do not recommend using Constant Contact for eCommerce store if you hope to integrate it with eComdash.

Can't cancel without calling them

This service is OK but really overpriced for small business. I kept forgetting to cancel as I was not using and when I tried , you can' cancel without talking to them. Not cool. If you can sign me up online , take my payment online, I should be able to cancel online.

Most unreliable and unstable platform avaiable!

Unstable and unpredictable. Do all your editing and try to save and it refreshes and blows your hours of editing way! I am looking for another service because this one is the worst! Tried to save in small increments (like every few minutes just in case) but it still refreshed on me and I lost all of it. I'm done, they suck...

DO NOT BUILD YOUR WEBSITE ON THEIR PLATFORM

Customer moved their site to Constant Contact platform and asked me if I could do SEO. I checked the platform and noticed that it works and operates similar to WordPress or Wix. Therefore, I agreed to do SEO and started digging. I was completely wrong. Constant contact website editor tool is a joke. It is probably developed for a cheap email ad building but surely NOT for a website. Now, there is the tech support of Constant Contact - useless. Any question I ask, answer is "NOT POSSIBLE". For example: the H1 header for the website... not implemented, the "ALT" image tag for the LOGO... not implemented, the canonical URL addition... not possible, FTP access to files... NO. The list can go on and on... but that is the message. If you plan to have your website operational in search engines, AVOID this clowns as far as you can. Even when I tried to use constant contact platform seo tool, I got into a confusion. When you run their seo tool, it suggest some website changes and fixes, they developed it the way that it tells you exactly what and where you have to do that. I tried to follow their suggestions, and this is where I had to contact their tech support and ask for help with implementing all those suggestions. Guess what... I got confirmation from Constant Contact technical support representative, who consulted with higher management, that it is not possible to follow those suggestions and make website fixes. And the fixed suggested were very basic STANDARD html and word processing rules, such as: set h1 tag for each page, set "alt" tags for all images, specify canonical URLs, and some other small things.

Very unprofessional, very rude and dumb tech support from 3rd world countries, pricey.

Dreadful company AVOID

Please think carefully before giving your bank details to this 'company'! After a FREE TRIAL they still withdrew money from our business account, we complained, and eventually our money was refunded. Only for them to start taking money from us again months later. Trying to cancel with them is nigh on impossible as they direct you to a paid helpline number. Such a shame because they've come up with a great idea but their ethics need working on.

What an Joke of an Company.
I bought the Website Editor, this was the most sad Website Editor i have ever seen.
I then tried to cancel and get a refund, no cancel button in sight.
The Phone Numbers arent connected / working and the chat only says "we cant handle that per chat"
What is this Company ? This is the most scummy thing ive ever encounterd on a legit business...
